so In answer to your question, No, I have not used my sewing machine much. I am not happy about it. I have however used the the recent snowcation to work on my guitar. I am now on lesson 3. I still sound very bad. perhaps sometime I will record myself and torture y'all with it. right now is the first time in weeks that I have had the whole house to myself and time to do whatever I wanted to do. I should be looking for a job but there are just no jobs to be had out there so I am listening to a documentary on the life of Elvis and complaining about the job market instead.  Elvis' story is so sad. I almost wish I had known him and just like most women I think I could have helped with a few encouraging words and a pat on the back. maybe not.

So I got a new sewing machine yesterday and I was so excited when I found out it sews on buttons. I would love for someone to recommend a book or something to me about sewing techniques. I would really like to make some things. I remember my grandmother making me a new dress every Easter and clothes for my dolls. She is very talented. She made most of my halloween costumes when I was a child. I really dont want this machine to collect dust like so many of my other endevors. Does anyone want to buy a gently used skin analysis machine? How about a stationary bicycle? Will this blog be one of those things sitting in the back of my virtual closet? Hum, I hope not.
